dAIversity Conference 2026


On July 1, 2026, the Faculty of Management at Warsaw University of Technology hosted the international dAIversity 2026 Conference, dedicated to issues of diversity, inclusiveness, and the use of artificial intelligence and new technologies in contemporary organizations and society.

The event was organized by the Faculty of Management of Warsaw University of Technology, the Faculty Student Council of the Faculty of Management at WUT, and the KTU School of Economics and Business (Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania). The conference brought together representatives of academia and business as well as students and doctoral candidates from Poland, Lithuania, Indonesia, Greece, Malta, Serbia, and Pakistan, creating a space for international exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices.

The conference was opened by Dr. Grzegorz Kunikowski, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Management of Warsaw University of Technology and Chair of the university branch of the Society for Organization and Management (TNOiK), who in his address presented the history and more than two-hundred-year tradition of Warsaw University of Technology, referring also to the 100th anniversary of management studies at the Faculty of Management, celebrated last year.

The first part of the conference featured lectures by distinguished representatives of the international academic community:

  • Vilmantė Kumpikaitė-Valiūnienė (Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania),
  • Yanki Hartijasti (University of Indonesia, Indonesia),
  • Dr. Viana Hassan (CEO, ETE Academy, Malta),
  • Masood Nawaz Kalyar (Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan).

The speakers presented the results of the latest research on the impact of artificial intelligence on organizational functioning, human capital management, and the building of work environments based on diversity and inclusiveness. Examples of AI applications in education, healthcare, tourism, and social research were also presented.

The second part of the event was devoted to the business perspective. The following experts shared their experience:

  • Joanna Czajkowska – HR Analytics Manager, TOYOTA Material Handling Poland,
  • Teresa Dubas – Chief People Officer in the MRO industry,
  • Krzysztof Jonak – Senior Sales & Marketing Leader in the IT industry, EMEA region.

The experts presented practical solutions related to diversity management, the use of analytics and artificial intelligence in HR processes, modern compensation systems, and the building of inclusive organizations responding to the challenges of digital transformation.

An integral part of the conference was a poster competition, during which students and young researchers presented their research projects. The winner of the competition was Akhtar Ali, a first-year doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of Warsaw University of Technology. The award-winning works confirmed the high substantive level of the research conducted and the great potential of young scientists to take on interdisciplinary challenges related to the development of artificial intelligence.

The dAIversity 2026 conference confirmed the growing importance of international cooperation in research on artificial intelligence, diversity, and inclusiveness. The meeting created a platform for the exchange of knowledge between academia and business and initiated new directions for research and educational cooperation with foreign partners.

The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Management at WUT, Dr. habil. Eng. Janusz Zawiła-Niedźwiecki, professor of the university, as well as Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. Among the event’s partners were organizations such as NTT System, Astor, Keystone Business Advisory, the HR/LS Law Firm, the Warsaw Branch of TNOiK, and the WUT Student Government.
